About Thomas H. Hooker

Thomas grew up in western Pennsylvania; he currently lives in Fort Worth, Texas and spends summer and fall months at his home in Northport, Michigan. He and his wife, Kristen, appreciate splitting time between their homes. A retired Chemist and Geologist, Thomas holds a BS in Geology from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. Thomas is an accomplished songwriter who enjoys playing acoustic guitar.



Snow banks

Rivers of ice snake
along the snowy bank,
twisted winds catch
drifts that gather inside
meander bends.

The late gray sky holds
downy flakes, collecting
on branches, where
blue silhouettes paint
shadows from trees.
